A few of Sanga's memorable moments: Innings of 98 on a green top against South Africa at Centurion in 2001 - first Test ton against India at Galle in 2001 - first double century in Tests versus Pakistan at Lahore in 2002 - Sangakkara sledging Pollock in Durban in the 2003 World Cup - stitching highest-ever stand in all First-Class cricket versus South Africa in 2006 - believe-it-or-not stumping to dismiss Lara in the 2007 World Cup - heart-stirring knock of 192 against Australia at Hobart in 2007 - leading his country to World T20 final at Lord's in 2009 - captaining Sri Lanka to 50-over World Cup final in 2011 - MCC Spirit of Cricket Colin Cowdrey Lecture at Lord's in 2011 - match-winning ODI century at Wanderers in 2012 - World T20 triumph in 2014 - Sangakkara's first triple ton against Bangladesh in 2014 - first Test ton at Lord's in 2014 - of course he was ranked the No. 1 batsman on a few occasions and has amassed 11 double hundreds - second only to Sir Don Bradman.
